N Series is back and it packs the gear to kick some ass.
Nokia has taken the veil off its first truly Nokia tablet.
The 7.9 inch tablet is iPad mini looking like and runs Nokia Z launcher on top
of Android 5.0 lollipop. The tablet is truly high end with flagship specs.
Specs just don’t get better than this.
What's hot:
- 64-bit 2.3GHz Intel Atom Z3580 processor, running at 2.3 GHz (Main processor )
- PowerVR G6430 GPU (Graphics chip)
- Wolfson Wolfson WM8958E (discrete audio chip)
- Laminated very high resolution display
- Ultra thin body at just 6.9mm
- Reversible type-C USB connector
- Stereo speakers
- 2 GB RAM and 32 GB Storage
The Nokia N1's display is a fully-laminated 2048×1536 resolution display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 , For an 8 inch tablet, this is such a high pixel density that things will really look sharp. With the above mentioned specs, you are assured of the best in multimedia. Games will be butter smooth and Music will just sound live. Battery isn't very convincing at 5300 mAh battery
For actual performance (i.e. speed), we shall have to wait for the devices to hit the market for real world testing.
This tablet could be the first of many more or could be a one time
pilot. Either way, I cannot wait to see how much it’s gonna impact the market.
I cannot wait to get my hands on this tablet.
The tablet is manufactured by Foxconn, the Chinese company that pretty much manufactures all iDevices. Nokia is licensing the brand. It looks good.
