Samsung Galaxy s5

Samsung has unveiled the its new flagship device, the Galaxy S5. The long awaited king of Android has been unleashed. It features a revamped camera, finger print scanner and a heart rate monitor. The phone also has a dimple design texture at the back which gives it a more premium look.

Galaxy S5 looks a lot the the S4
The Galaxy S5 is surprisingly a 5.1 inch smartphone. This shows that Samsung has finally reached the maximum size a smartphone can be (Thank goodness). It is 6mm taller and 3mm thincker than the S4. The bezels are also thicker. This could be due to the fact that the Galaxy S5 is both dust and water proof. Most specs are similar to the Galaxy S4. The S5 however boasts a Snapdragon 800 MSM8974-AC chipset. This puts it at par with all other top tier smartphones.

The S5 features USB 3.0, probably the first for a smartphone. and as always, it has support for almost any audio and video format you can think of. The UI has been given a slight face lift. Most notably the settings have been given a vertically scrolling grid. The finger print sensor requires you to input your finger print 8 times before you can start using it for the first time. This improves security and reduces future unlocking frustrations.
